Breda railcar in the South Tirol, Italy, 1967

The 140 of the Breda series of the ALn 556 class were built 1938-1940 and were easily identifiable from the Fiats by the different fronts. These had 2 x 95.5 kW engines, axle arrangement of 1A-A1, a tare weight of 31 tonnes, seated 56 and were 22.7 metres long.  They were finally withdrawn in the 1980s.
