1925 Brill 'Peter Witt' trolleys in Brooklyn/Queens, New York

These were scrapped 1949-1956.  "Peter Witt Cars were front entrance/rear exit car designed by an executive of the Cleveland, Ohio system. The conductor was stationed in front of the rear door. Passengers would pay the fare as they passed him to sit in the rear or leave the car. This was to speed loading at car stops. All of Brooklyn's Witts were double ended."
