Santa Fe GE B23-7's


At least that's what the first two units are in this 5-locomotive lash-up seen in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1987. The General Electric B23-7 was a Bo-Bo type built from 1977 to 1984, with a V12 2,250 hp (1,680 kW) prime mover. Of 527 units built by GE, 69 went to Santa Fe.  More
