Victorian Railways H class


A one-off 4-8-4 which ran from 1941 to 1958. Nicknamed "Heavy Harry", H 220 was the largest locomotive ever built in Australia at 264 tonnes and was the largest non-articulated steam locomotive to run on Australian railways.

It is in static preservation at the ARHS North Williamstown Railway Museum.
