Saturday in Seagraves, Texas, circa 1940

The 1937 Ford is the most recent car visible.  The fuel truck has Conoco on it.

This small town in West Texas was a Santa Fe railway town and later developed through the oil industry. It is today on the West Texas and Lubbock Railway (reporting mark WTLC), a shortline railroad in Texas, owned by Iowa Pacific Holdings which connects to BNSF.
