van in Forbach, France, 1941


The French and German names of this town in Lorraine close to Saarbrücken in Germany are the same; however, the label of Adolf-Hitlerstrasse dates it accurately as like the Alsace region, Lorraine was made part of the Third Reich after Hitler's invasion of May 1940.
