Dutch 7700 class steam engines


The 44 of this class were 0-6-0 tank type, built by Werkspoor, Henschel & Sohn and Schwartzkopff and introduced into service between 1905 and 1913. They were all withdrawn between 1937 and 1955 except for one, shown, nicknamed 'Bello': number 7742 dating from 1914 which is apparently Holland's sole surviving lokaalspoor (local railway) locomotive.
