steam train on the Sonneberg West viaduct, Germany, 1900s


From the look of it a painting of this scenic spot on the southern edge of the Thüringer Wald, about 2.5 km from the main Sonneberg station and more to the north than the west. Sonneberg West was listed in the timetable as a Haltestelle or stopping place but that seems a fairly elaborate building for that status.
