In the Isère region, showing the 2,341 metre high Grand Veymont in the distance. A photo taken after the the opening of a new road between Grenoble and La Croix. Not dated, but probably 1960s. Perhaps that is the photographer's car by the roadside, who waited for the railcar to arrive.
