trams on Willis Street, Wellington, 1938

 

At least a dozen of them amidst the rubber tyred vehicles. Looking south.  Dated 23 December. so it's probably busy with Christmas shoppers; a shop on the left is intriguingly named "The Hurry Up".  For lots more, see earlier posts and of course, the book Wellington Transport Memories.

  1. The Hurry Up was a shoe and boot repair business and I think there was a number of shops around town
