the 'Principe di Udine'


This was built by Barclay, Curle & Co Ltd of Glasgow, Scotland, in 1908 for Lloyd Sabaudo of Italy and used on the Italy-New York service, ultimately the ship was scrapped in Italy in 1929.

Data: 7794 gross tons; 450 ft long (137 metres); 55 feet wide (16.8 metres). Steam quadruple expansion engines, twin screw. Service speed 16.5 knots. 1500 passengers (150 first class, 150 second class, 1200 third class).
