This ro-ro ship was built in 1979 for the Shipping Corporation of Polynesia, 6,861 grt. She was one of two sisters, the other being
Forum Samoa, built by the Seitas yard for the company in 1979. She is currently sailing as
Golden Trader 1 Another ship with a grt of 7,091,
Fua Kavenga II, was built in 2002.
