Chicago Burlington and Quincy Passenger Motor Car, 1930


This was one of four PMCs ordered by the CB&Q in 1930 from Pullman, powered by an Electro-Motive Corporation engine. Originally built as gas-electrics, the four PMCs were numbered 9767-9770. This one was later converted to diesel-electric using a 400 hp diesel prime mover supplied by Electro-Motive Corporation. It was scrapped in August 1966. Is that part of the radiator above the cab?
