Garratt locomotive inspection, NSW, 1952

 

 
At North Strathfield in Sydney, new Beyer-Garratt locomotive number 6002 paused in its freight run to Broadmeadow for a press inspection on 1 August 1952.  The 60 class was the only Garratt to be used in NSW, see earlier posts.
