Belgium Royal Aero Club card, 1920s

A card issued by L'Aéroclub Royal de Belgique / De Koninklijke Belgische Aëroclub.  Zögling was a glider designed by German Alexander Lippisch in 1926, although the word is also German for pupil.

The curious aspect about this pic is that it looks like the men on the ground have a fire hose or a rope - a glider doesn't carry fuel, so more likely the latter - for stopping the craft from being blown away?
