The latest opening in Brest in June (see earlier post) is by no means the end of the return of trams to France.
Other cities planning to open systems (all standard gauge) in the next few years are:
Artois-Gohelle from 2014
Aubagne from 2014
Avignon from 2016
Besançon from 2015
Dijon next month
Le Havre from December
Tours from 2013
This will make a total of 27 cities with trams / light rail.
