old house and tram on the Pirmil bridge, Nantes, France, 1905

At least, someone has put a date of 5 February 1905 on this postcard.  This bridge collapsed in 1924 and a three-metal-arch bridge replaced the 15 stone arches. This was blown up in turn by the Germans in 1944 and replaced a second time in 1947.  In 1994 it was widened for a double track line of the Nantes tramway system once more with an adjoining span, recovered from the 1944 destruction.
