Canadian Pacific Alco diesels on Lake Superior, Ontario, 1950s

A postcard from the 1950s showing a pair of ALCo FA series diesels with a freight train - the boxcars in the distance are presumably the rear of it. Taken at Jackfish Tunnel, North Shore, Lake Superior (which looks rather icy).

The FA series were Bo-Bo type,with a four-stroke 8,016 cubic inch (131.36 litre) turbocharged V-12 prime mover.
