Class 50 at London Paddington

At Paddington Station, which serves regions west of London (see earlier post), a British Rail Class 50, a Co-Co type diesel, is about to depart at some ungodly hour in the 1980s. The class number may have come from the number built over 1967-68 by English Electric at their Vulcan Foundry Works in Newton-le-Willows. (Wallace Trickett painting)
