Opel Blitzbus, 1940s



It's a little hard to date this: the grille is the same as that used for Opel Blitz Wehrmacht trucks and buses during WW2, but this bus could be 1939 or 1940.  The name Blitz (lightning) had been in use in the 1930s and had nothing to do with Blitzkrieg. Zugvogel means a bird that flies to different parts of the world with the seasons.
