Matougues station then and now

Next to a level crossing doesn't occur as the most convenient place to site a station.  Everything in the scene still exists including the railway, but the building is no longer a station and this town in northeast France doesn't seem to have one now. The "Fishers' Rendez-vous" serves Fries and Matelotes, the latter is a stew made usually of fish in a seasoned wine sauce, literally, a sailor's wife, from matelot.
