The Rode Duivels was the nickname given to the NS or Dutch Railways' post-WW2 diesel-electric railcars in their original red livery shown. Later they were repainted in the NS's replacement (and less appealing) yellow livery. The second pic is from this webpage, where there are more. We have a copy of the book in our library.
