An example of the Avro 685 York, seen at Hannover, Germany, probably early 1950s. It was a four-engine airliner and transport aircraft produced by the British manufacturer AVRO, A.V. Roe and Company and used by both civil and military operators. It was a development of the wartime Avro 683 Lancaster.
