new book on tramp ships from a vanished era

The ship on the cover may look Australian and the name of the publisher looks French, but it is actually Danish. This book looks at the ships of the Myren company which lasted from the 1890s to the early 1970s. This was a tramp service which is a shipping company that has no fixed routing or itinerary or schedule and whose ships are available at short notice (or fixture) to load any cargo from any port to any port, and the ships of this operation voyaged to quite a few different destinations.

Most of the photos are b/w but there are some in colour, as well as a few diagrams. The text is in Danish but there is a summary in English.  188 pages in A4 format, hardcover.
