old Löwenberg in Silesia

A horse-drawn cart is about the only sign of life in this pretty scene of the Town Hall and Market Hall from probably the 1900s. After Stalin's border changes of 1945 Löwenberg ("Lion Hill") became Lwówek Śląski in Poland and has a present population of a bit under 10,000.
