Last Saturday about 1,200 people showed up to witness the preserved Kingston Flyer steam train back in action between Kingston and Fairlight, after financial difficulties saw its mortgagee look for a buyer, finally selling it to Marlborough entrepreneur David Bryce (see earlier posts).
Along with the railway operation, the Kingston Tavern was part of the deal. Otago Daily Times report.
