former narrow gauge steam railways on Sao Tomé and Principe

A postcard probably from the early 1920s. The volcano-formed islands of São Tomé and Príncipe lie approximately 250 km off the West African coast near Gabon and belonged to Portugal until 1975 when they became independent.  Info about their narrow gauge steam railways here.
