at the German train station, 1935


"A man waited for me at the station. He raised his hat and was very friendly to me. But I noticed straight away that he was a jew..."

This was one of the milder of a series of anti-Semitic cards produced by the Nazis about the time the Nürnberggesetze or Nürnberg race laws were introduced.  Although the purpose was appalling, it is rather amusing for us now - it's hard to imagine this being a successful seduction approach for anyone, even then.
