The city of Oppeln in Silesia found itself in Poland after 1945 and renamed Opole. Today like most German cities the scars of WW2 damage are evident, but several German buildings are still there including the station.  Above are old pre-WW2 postcards and photos taken last year by Geoff Churchman.
