Kalamazoo is a city in southwest Michigan with a population of about 75,000, some 10,000 below what it was in 1970. The postcard photo looks to have been taken in the late 1950s; the newest identifiable car is the 1956 Ford. The Kalamazoo Building in the above view is still there as is its sign.
