We gather from trade sources that Addenda Publishing in Auckland went into receivership yesterday. They described themselves as "publisher, publishing services, and book distribution in New Zealand. We specialise in representing book publishers from New Zealand and around the world" . Their website simply states "this page is unavailable" and asks for a log-in code.
Our knowledge about them is scant and we can't comment, except to say that the book trade has found the going very tough since Bill English's GST hike a year ago and there will probably be more casualties.
