stage coach under Hawk's Crag, Buller Gorge, 1900s


Anyone who has driven along the Buller Gorge between Westport and Inangahua will be aware of this feature, which as the Google view shows, is still one lane today.  The word 'crag' means a steep or rugged rock, of Celtic origin.
