The Parnell railway bridge one more time--a good study staken on 18 September 1929 by James D. Richardson, which as well as the bridge in the centre shows St Andrews Church in the left background, and the Supreme Court at the top of Constitution Hill in the centre background. As those who have our books know, this was not very long before the layout of Auckland's railways was altered with the closure of the Queen Street station and the opening of the Beach Road station, and the completion of a new deviation around the bays through Glen Innes and Panmure for NIMT trains.
