A card date stamped by the NZ Post Office on 14 January 2008 for the visit to Lyttelton of the Italian Antarctic research ship Italica. "23rd expedition National Program of Research in Antarctica." More pics and info here.
The ship is presently berthed at Crotone, Italy, presumably her northern summer lay-up port.
