Esbjerg station

"Harbour docks and customs house"
Esbjerg is a port on the North Sea coast of Denmark and a destination of ferries from Harwich in England which take 22 hours.  They are met at Esbjerg by an express train which takes the passengers to Copenhagen.  Between 1937 and 1961 this was a lyntog service (see previous posts) called Englænderen; nowadays it is an InterCity which takes a bit over 4 hours.

The present station was built in 1904 and still looks much the same.
