Milan, trams in the Piazza del Duomo, a century ago

The Cathedral of Milan is one of the most impressive in Europe and the Piazza is a central feature of the city.  It seems that a century ago the surrounding buildings including the triumphal arch were colored brown, at least according to this old postcard.  There are still tramlines nearby.
