One of the publications we have tried to find in antiquarian bookshops when in France, so far without success, are old copies of the Indicateur Chaix of French railway timetables which were published until recent times, although we don't know exactly when they ceased. They were published monthly, rather like the Thomas Cook European timetables still are.
Nowadays there is no printed equivalent of the Chaix, but you can get a CD of the French railway timetables at stations.
If the prices of the issues shown seem inconsistent it is because in 1960 France introduced new francs equal to 100 old francs.
