the Autocar, March 1939

The cover of the issue of the British Autocar magazine dated 31 March 1939, featuring a Morris grille.  The magazine was founded in 1895, the year of the first car, and the name may have been that used at the time, a combination of car and automobile. In France, of course, an autocar means a bus. We will post some interesting items from the etymology of transport soon.
