A postcard of this short 1.6 km (1 mile) long funicular on Mount Tsukuba, Ibaraki. It is part of Tsukuba Kanko Railway which also operates an aerial tramway, hotels and restaurants. It is 1067 mm or 3'6" gauge, has an altitude change of 495 metres (1,624 ft) and the only stations are the termini.
