Russian woodburning 0-6-0 locomotive

Views of a wood-burning locomotive (circa 1860) and the St Petersburg station of the Nikolaev Railway, in an album containing 45 albumen prints. The album was probably one of only a few made honoring Czar Nicholas I (1796-1855), commemorating the railway line between St Petersburg and Moscow that was opened in 1851.
