The Raumaban (railway) of the NSB is one of the several scenic lines in Norway: this is a 114 km branch line from Dombås to Åndalsnes which contains some impressive engineering features as well as the very tall cliffs and waterfalls it passes. The change in altitude is 655 metres and the line has 32 bridges and 6 tunnels including the 1,340 meter horseshoe curve tunnel of Stavem.
