Tatra train, Poland


There is no equivalent of the Slovak Tatra mountain railways in Poland; getting into the Tatra mountains on the Polish side involves road transport to a car park or bus stop and then your feet.  However, the popular resort town of Zakopane has a railway line, and this Francois Jolly photo shows an electric mutiple unit leaving Zakopane for Krakow.
