Another Keith Flemming photo, this shows an English Electric two-car electric multiple unit entering Simla Crescent station in Khandallah on the 10.5 km Johnsonville branchline on 18 August 1957. The destination signs on the sides above the windows, among a few other details, indicate this is one of the original two-car sets acquired for the electrification of the line in 1938.
