The cover of this book Lighthouses of South Africa is again notable not for the picture that is used, but the material that it has been printed on: a silky type fabric, very 'touchy feely' and has a semi-metallic lustre. The titles are stamped into it.
The book itself is a nicely designed, all-colour hardback pictorial of 51 of the lighthouses around the South African coast, 384 pages in all, although it would have benefited from a larger format than its 200 mm (about 8 inch) square size.
