First line: from Porte de Vincennes to Porte Maillot (now line number 1).

Engineer in charge of construction: Fulgence Bienvenüe

Architect responsible for the Art Nouveau entrances: Hector Guimard

Stations: 368 (not including RER stations)

Average distance between stations: 562 metres
