While visiting one of our book printers, in Paraparaumu, a few days ago, one of our directors took this photo of the lagoon across the street. Among other birds, this shows a black swan (native to Australia), and a hen-like pukeko (native to New Zealand) almost hidden in the clump nearest the camera - his beak can be seen.
