Those who have our books
Wellington: A Capital Century by David McGill and
Strait Crossing: The ferries of Cook Strait through time by Victor Young should find this map of Wellington's railway yard and commercial wharves, including the ferry terminals, of interest. Although schematic with straight lines rather than curves, the yard layout should be useful to railway modellers.
A large part of the railway yard has since made way for the Stadium, and the floating dry dock next to the Cook Strait ferry terminal went some 10 years after this map date.
