Not in Wellington, however, but at the Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT) in Auckland, which has its own tramway along Motions Road and a small part of the Great North Road.
The tram, number 47, was fully restored a couple of months ago and is now operational. Pictures of double decker trams in action in Wellington a century ago are on pages 16 and 17 of our book Wellington Transport Memories.
