3-car Dutch tram, Voorschoten, 1961

A NZH (Noord-Zuid-Hollandsche Stoomtramweg-Maatschappij) "Boedapester" unit which operated between Voorschoten and Leidschendam.

This looks to be the location today

Santa Fe CF7 #2600 and a 1981 Chevrolet Impala 9C1

This was rebuilt by the Santa Fe Railway in the early 1970s in its Cleburne shops from an early EMD F-unit. It was sold in 1987 to the Santa Cruz, Big Trees & Pacific Railway (SCBG).

coal-fired steam trains may be an answer to the looming diesel shortage in NZ?

The problem of course is that there are not many operational steam locos in NZ now, but there would be enough to handle the long distance passenger trains as there aren't many of them either.
