This was on the corner of Wilshire and Westwood Boulevards. There's no clue about its existence at this location today. (via Vintage Los Angeles)

    Originally the hi ho Drive-in and College Cafe dating back to the 1920’s era. Replaced by the Oppenheimer Building in 1969 (see construction photos on Skyscraper NLA V.2 around page 6-8). More info. on Martin Turnbull’s photo blog in December 2025. The Crest Theater (ex-UCLAN, now Nimoy) can be found just south of the site.
